SOCIAL MOBILITY

Matthew has launched the Kent College Social Mobility Fund in an attempt to promote the game of Rugby amongst those from diverse backgrounds.  

In that sense it is part of a more general belief in the need for social mobility, which was at the heart of Matthew's own journey in the the game. In an increasingly difficult climate for that mobility, Matthew hopes schemes like the scholarship system will help a group of young people who wouldn't ordinarily access  private education.
